• Activity begins at 7:00 and extends until 9:00 or when supplies run out.

• This is a walk-in style event with no guest cap. Once seats fill up inside, attendees will need to find areas to write outside on the patio.

• There will be no refreshments this event, but you can grab food from the cafe’s next door. Please do not bring food inside the studio.

• You’ll never be asked to share aloud

• made a mistake

• felt lucky

• met a friend

• got embarrassed

• etc.

No story is too ordinary to tell.

No, you have the option to use a pen and paper or a phone/laptop. We’ll have a printer for convenience.

However long you want it to.

Write a short story, or a long one.

I’d say an average experience takes 30-45 minutes.

Guests are asked to use fake names and to avoid using revealing characteristics about all people in your stories, including yourself.

We want to connect our local community together through ordinary and relatable stories from people around Salt Lake.

We’re going to drop sealed envelopes off to little libraries around Salt Lake neighborhoods. (The magical leave a book take a book stations)

Your stories will be read by people around the city.
