We’re an 18+ writing club in Salt Lake City focused on imagination and low-pressure creativity. Monthly club nights feature a themed writing game, refreshments, and opportunities to write and socialize amongst like-minded people.
Because Creativity Matters
Most of us don’t make time to be creative outside of work or social media, much less share it with others. Creativity matters, not just for projects or careers, but for reconnecting with the childlike playfulness that fuels imagination.
At the core, the CWC exists to provide a dedicated night each month for community and creativity for SLC adults.
A Themed Activity
WHAT TO EXPECT
It's challenging to write without a clear direction, so each meet-up will include a guided activity to foster fun, imagination, and creativity.
This club is meant to have a low-pressure atmosphere where everyone feels supported in participating. Writing, reading, and socializing can all be intimidating in one way or another. Please be ready to encourage your fellow writers.
Casual Company
Free Writing Time
For the remaining 45 minutes of each event (roughly), we encourage a quiet and introspective atmosphere to work on personal projects or hobbies. We kindly ask the studio to be cleared by 9PM in preparation for early morning classes.
