The idea for the CWC came from my own relationship with writing and the challenge of making time for it as an adult. It’s been a wonderful tool for processing ideas, concepts, feelings, my world, and my inner self, and I wanted to create a place for others to do the same.

Inspired by the small pop-ups and events happening in the local Pilates community, I wondered why writing hadn’t made a home alongside its book club cousins in similar ways.

Well, by last Christmas, the club reached its fifth month, and we’ve slowly been carving our own corner in the community, specifically for the creative writers of Salt Lake. We invite you to take part and help us become the club writers need.
